Terms & Conditions

STR Media House offers:

• Photography (e.g., weddings, milestones, portraits, events)

• Videography and cinematic film production

• Edited deliverables (e.g., digital photos, highlight videos, reels)

• Additional services as agreed in writing
  
  

Service details, including the number of deliverables and coverage hours, will be specified in each service agreement.

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm any booking.

The remaining 50% balance is due 48 hours before the event date.

Failure to complete payment will result in cancellation of services without obligation to deliver any content.

Accepted payment methods: EFT (bank transfer), cash, or other methods agreed upon in writing.

Final edited content will be delivered within 4 weeks of the service date unless otherwise agreed.

Urgent or express edits may incur additional fees and are subject to availability.

The Client agrees not to engage other photo/video vendors for the same event without STR Media House's consent. This ensures quality and consistency of content.

All copyrights of media remain with STR Media House.

Clients receive a personal use license, allowing sharing on social platforms and printing for non-commercial purposes.

Commercial usage, re-editing, or resale requires written permission and licensing.

Clients have reviewed our portfolio and agree to our creative style.

While we accommodate preferences, final artistic discretion rests with STR Media House.

Dissatisfaction with style or aesthetic choices is not grounds for refunds.

In case of unforeseeable loss or damage of deliverables (e.g., SD card failure), STR Media House will refund up to 50% of the total paid.

Our liability is limited to the total amount paid and does not cover consequential losses.

Cancellations: Deposits are non-refundable. All payments made prior to cancellation are forfeited unless otherwise agreed.

Rescheduling: Subject to our availability and discretion. An additional fee may apply.

No-Shows: If the Client or key parties fail to attend, no refund or rescheduling is due.

STR Media House is not liable for cancellations or delays due to events beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, illness, strikes). In such cases:

• The Client may receive a partial refund or service credit, as appropriate.

If STR Media House is unable to perform (e.g., due to illness or equipment failure):

• We will notify the Client promptly.

• A replacement may be offered, or a refund/credit will be issued at our discretion.

The Client agrees to:

• Provide accurate event details (location, times, contacts).

• Cooperate during the shoot and grant necessary access.

• Ensure a safe and respectful environment for the team.

If at any point STR Media House feels unsafe or disrespected, we reserve the right to exit the event. No refunds will be issued in such cases.

STR Media House respects client privacy. We will not release personal footage or photos without consent. However, we may use selected shots for portfolio, website, or social media, unless the Client opts out in writing. 

This Agreement and Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. 

Any changes must be made in writing and signed by both parties. These Terms, together with the signed service agreement, form the complete agreement between the Client and STR Media House.
